'Potsdam! Shows colour'

In Potsdam there are many associations, initiatives and institutions which long have stood for peaceful coexistence. With this as the focus of their ongoing work and activities, they create a climate which fosters peace and tolerance, where fairness is a priority and where there is no room for radical right-wing, extremist, or racial attacks.

In 2000 the slogan “‘Potsdam! shows colour’ – Together for tolerance, non-violence and peaceful coexistence” was developed together with the city athletic association and the administration of Potsdam to set a clear example. The city-wide alliance ‘Potsdam! shows colour’ has since evolved from this initiative.
