Open-air exhibition 1000 Years and a Quarter-Century

Potsdam‘s earliest documented mention is from 3 July 993 under the name Poztupimi. In 1993, the state capital celebrated its millennium anniversary throughout the year. In 2018, the exhibition “1000 Years and a Quarter-Century” presented pictures and stories that looked back at the past 25 years, within which the cityscape and the city’s atmosphere had changed considerably. The photos and texts relating to the 17 themes of the exhibition can be opened by going to the Table of contents.
