You can discover Potsdam and its natural beauty in a variety of ways: by bycicle, from the water or on foot. In Potsdam you can find numerous possibilities for hiking.
The Europe Trail E10 Baltic Sea – Mediterranean Sea and E11 Netherlands – Masuria intersects in Potsdam. The wayside cross is located in a small green area at the foot of the hill Brauhausberg.
The 66-Lake-Bike-Trail, which invites you to discover the waterfronts of Berlin and its surroundings, runs alongside the Havel in Potsdam.

The Berlin Wall Trail was erected from 2002 to 2006. The Senate Department of Urban Development of the State of Berlin coordinated this project. At a length of about 160 km² the Berlin Wall Trail follows the route of the former GDR border installations to West Berlin. In particular in the state capital Potsdam area, interesting historical portions alternate with appealing landscaped routes.

Island Circular Path
From the leisure park Neuer Lustgarten via Nattwerder you need 25 stations to get to the island Freundschaftsinsel. The Island Circular Path shows that a big part of Potsdam is located on an island.

Circular Path of the Gardener Generation
From Alexandrovka via Karl Foerster’s Garden you need 16 stations to get to the hill Kapellenberg. This cicular path shows how varied were the garden designs in Potsdam through the ages.

Garden Dreams Circular Path
From the pump station via the Wildpark you need 15 stations to get to the city square Luisenplatz. The most diverse gardens are presented on this route. Landscape gardeners, artists but also ‘normal’ citizens created an appealing piece of land.

Experience of Nature Circular Path
From the Lindenallee (New Palace) via Eiche you need 5 stations to get to Golm. Experience nature starting in the historic city center and ending in the moor landscape Golmer Luch.

Goddess Pamona Circular Path
From the Bornim cemetery via Golm you need 5 stations to get to Neumann’s Pick-Your-Own Garden. The route connects recreational gardens with a variety of fruits, fruit farms for shopping or self-picking as well as tree nurseries.
