Berlin

From the state capital Potsdam to the federal capital Berlin it is only a short hop…or a walk over the Glienicke Bridge. Stroll over the famous bridge - where once the “Great Powers” exchanged their spies - and enjoy the view of the island Potsdam.

The Glienicke Palace and Garden are located just on the other side in Berlin. The Hunting Lodge Grunewald and the Charlottenburg Palace which is the largest preserved palace in Berlin-Brandenburg with its baroque garden, invite you for a short visit there.

The government district with the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island in Berlin are also worth visiting. A fully developed transportation system brings tourists from Potsdam to the vibrant metropolis in a short time. For example, the S-Bahn takes only 45 minutes to the splendid boulevard “Unter den Linden”.

With its cultural variety, Berlin is ideal for an eventful day trip, after which you can return to the peace and beauty of Potsdam’s palace landscape.
